MASTER FORMATS
Acceptable Master Tape Formats
Help us to duplicate for you a cassette of exceptional performance that Cassette Works is known for, by providing us with the best source master available to you.
Our mastering facilities can handle most types of mastering formats. These include: 1/4-inch, (full, 2 or 4-track) reel-to-reel recorded at 3.75, 7.5, or 15ips; audio-cassette masters; compact disk; wav files; and digital audio tape (DAT).
Your master(s) should be "program-ready" and with the following information provided, as applicable, to reduce the possibility of errors, complications or delays in the remastering process: 1) Program length (important), 2) Recorded Format — mono or stereo, 3) Tape Speed, 4) Track Configuration — full, 2 or 4 track, 5) Noise Reduction — specify none, Dolby A, B, C, SR: DBX Type I or II, and 6) Tone alignments (if possible)
ADDITIONAL ONE-TIME CHARGES
Imprinting
Imprinting is an on-shell printing process. Your cassette information is printed directly on the cassette shell in one color. Generally, black or blue ink is used on a white cassette shell and white ink is used on a clear shell. Imprinting plates are $35.00 per cassette for one side or two.
Imprinting adds 6¢ per cassette whether you request one-sided or two-sided printing. There is a minimum $20.00 charge for this service.

Remastering
We produce a digital bin master from your master to duplicate from. We do not duplicate directly from your master. The production of the digital bin master is determined by the master length. Remastering up to C95 is $35.00
C96 to C120 is $40.00
ADDITIONAL ONE-TIME CHARGES
Test Cassette
Test cassettes are available before we run your job. The fee for this service is $10.00 and includes two copies of your master.

Editing
All editing is $50.00 per hour. Standard "turnover" statements and other tags you provide may be added at no extra charge.

Paper Labels
Printing of pressure sensitive labels are custom quoted on a per job basis. Minimum charge for a one color label is $50.00. This will supply you with about 200 labels. The application of the label to your cassettes ranges from about 5 to 8 cents per label, per side.
SOUND LEVELS
Tone Alignments
Tone alignments are not required, but are helpful in setting duplication levels. Use the following as a guide:
No Noise Reduction — 1K / 10K / 100Hz
Dolby Noise Reduction — 1K / 10K
DBX Noise Reduction — 1K (encoded) / 1K (non-encoded) / 10K (non-encoded) / 100Hz (non-encoded)
